EDUCATING ANISHNAABE: GIVING, LEARNING & EMPOWERING (EAGLE)
Dedicated to increasing the involvement of American Indians in all levels of the university community, promoting professional relationships, demanding accountability, developing effective channels of communication, undertaking a continuous plan to identify areas of needs in program development and the recruitment, encouraging the development of academic and professional excellence among American Indian students, faculty and staff, and enhancing the educational experience of American Indian faculty, staff, and students on campus as well as the community at large

Indigenous Studies Working Group
A community of scholars, activists, students, and community members who get together 6-8 times per semester to share ideas and offer feedback on each other’s work. The intention of ISWG is to establish an ongoing campus space where Indigenous scholars – and those who focus on Indigenous issues – can share ideas in an environment that truly recognizes Indigenous knowledge and its importance. Moreover, ISWG intends to be a non-competitive and dialogical space where Indigenous knowledge serves to decolonize the academy.

Coalition of Racial and Ethnic Minorities
A coalition of four historically underrepresented racial and ethnic faculty, staff and administrator organizations at Michigan State University. The organizations have been advocates for and supportive of diversity, equity and inclusion for more than 40 years.
